Friday 24 October 2025 Oak Class learn more about the Great Fire of London In Writing, we began exploring diary writing and learned about Samuel Pepys, who kept a diary during the Great Fire of London. The children took part in some exciting hot-seating, where a few of them stepped into the role of Thomas Farriner, the baker, and answered lots of interesting questions from their classmates.

Monday 19 May 2025 Oak Multi Sports Fun! Oak class took part in a Multi Skills session on Tuesday with Mrs Dallaway, our Cluster leader. Mrs Dallaway was very impressed with their behaviour and their impressive sports skills. They did really well. We wait for the results to be announced after all the schools in the cluster have competed! Many thanks to our brilliant Year 5 play leaders who assisted Mrs Dallaway with setting up and recording the activities.

Monday 10 March 2025 Oak Class World Book Day Fun! Oak class enjoyed a fun World Book day! The children took part in various activities including a session with Ian Macdonald and having Copper Beech come and read with them.
