Welcome to Our Honeybee Hive Community!

A heartfelt welcome back to all our returning parents, and a particularly warm welcome to our new Honeybee families! We are so delighted to have you join our buzzing hive community.
We truly hope you all had a wonderful summer, filled with exciting adventures and many beautiful memories. What a fantastic first week we've had here at Honeybees! The air has been filled with the joyous sounds of children settling in, making new friends, and reconnecting with old ones. We've spent time getting to know all our new Honeybees, discovering their unique personalities and bright smiles.
Our learning journey has already begun with our exciting new topic, "All About Me." This week, we dived headfirst into exploring the wonderful world of ourselves and our families. We had so much fun getting to know our own unique facial features, creating hilarious "face pizzas" and chatting about our eyes, ears, and noses! Our imaginations also soared as we explored the delightful story of "Dear Zoo," learning about all the different animals that appeared.
In our maths explorations, we've been busy counting and recognising numbers 1-5. Our favourite activity has been singing and acting out the rhyme "Five Little Ducks," complete with our very own homemade duck pond! It's been wonderful to see the children engaging so enthusiastically with early number concepts.
As we continue our "All About Me" topic, we will soon be focusing on our homes and the wonderful people who live in them. To help us celebrate the diversity within our community and explore the different types of homes people live in (houses, flats, detached homes, etc.), we would be incredibly grateful if you could send in a family picture. If you are comfortable, a photograph of your home would also be a fantastic addition. We will be sharing these with the children, sparking engaging conversations and fostering a sense of belonging and understanding amongst our little Honeybees.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to a fantastic term of learning and discovery together!
