Honeybees enjoy the sunshine!
This week at Honeybees we have been soaking up the sunshine and turning our curiosity into growth, diving into the classic tale of Jack and the Beanstalk while each child planted their very own bean seed to watch the magic of sprouting unfold; the classroom burst into a sea of red for a day of comic‑relief dress‑up, our new “A” sound echoed in enthusiastic chants, and we marched along to the lively rhyme “The Grand Old Duke of York,” reinforcing rhythm and sequencing—at home you can extend the adventure by reading the story together, planting your own bean, making a “red‑day” picture collage of funny faces, and playing a simple “A‑sound” treasure hunt around the house; next week we’ll buzz into a whole new unit about bees, so feel free to drape yourselves in bright yellow all week as we explore why these pollinators are vital to our world, and if anyone would like to bring a voluntary honey‑themed snack (think honey‑drizzled fruit, honey‑yogurt parfaits, or a simple honey‑butter sandwich) it would be absolutely fantastic!
