🌟 Chestnut Class Chase Their Shadows! 

This week, Chestnut Class have been super busy exploring exciting new topics across the curriculum!

🕰️ In History, we travelled back in time to learn about bartering — a fascinating period before money existed! The children had a brilliant time trading items with one another, gaining hands-on experience of how people used to exchange goods.

➕ In Maths, we began exploring addition using place value counters. The children did a fantastic job understanding how numbers are built and added using tens and ones. Their enthusiasm and focus were impressive!

🎨 In Art, creativity bloomed as we explored textures using a variety of materials — from leaves to LEGO bricks! The children used these textured items to create beautiful flower artworks, showcasing their imagination and artistic flair.
