Busy Week in Chestnut Class
We’ve had a wonderfully busy and joyful week in Chestnut Class!
- Maths: The children have been working hard on multiplication and division facts. It’s been fantastic to see their confidence growing as they spot patterns and apply their knowledge in different ways.
- English: We have been learning our model text for a journey tale. The children are beginning to explore the language and structure that will help them write their own exciting stories in the weeks ahead.
- Science: Our focus has been on muscles. The children loved discovering how muscles help us move, and they even created their own model hands to see this in action!
- Christmas Preparations: Chestnut Class have also been busy making beautiful baubles, which will soon be taken down to the church and used to decorate the tree. This is a special way for us to celebrate together as a school community, remembering the joy of Christmas and the birth of Jesus, the Light of the World.
It has certainly been a packed week, but the children have approached every activity with enthusiasm and creativity. We are so proud of their efforts and look forward to sharing more of their learning with you soon.
