Performance Pioneers

At Northiam C of E Primary School, The Performing Pioneers are designed to give children rich, engaging opportunities which inspire children and develop their passion for performing arts. The curriculum enables children to work collaboratively, think creatively, express themselves and embrace their individuality. Children are given different experiences and opportunities which allows them to be more confident within themselves, imaginative and empowers them to be the best that they can be.

The Performing Pioneers teaches children specific skills and allows them to develop their skills further which they can use in the wider curriculum. Local musicians are invited in, as well as having specialists from performing arts backgrounds; allows visitors to share their knowledge and inspire the children. Having opportunities to enter competitions and share their hard work and dedication allows us to have close links with the local and wider community.
