Art Factory

 At Northiam C of E Primary School, The Art Factory curriculum is designed to encompass the social, moral, spiritual and cultural well-being of each child.  The curriculum encourages a belief that creative potential is inside everyone and can be found everywhere.  Children are taught to be non-judgemental and to recognise that mistakes are to be celebrated, learned from and utilised.  The Art Factory embeds an attitude of positivity and openness to new experiences and ideas, alongside an attitude of ‘smart risk-taking’.  The Art Factory teaches children to hone a specific skill. Local artists are invited in, to share a wealth of experiences with the children, whilst every opportunity is taken to share and celebrate the children’s artwork within the wider community.
