At Northiam, we want our children to love art and design. We want them to have no limits to what their ambitions are and grow up to be happy and enthusiastic in all they set out to achieve.
We have created a broad, flexible and motivating curriculum that recognises the different talents of all children and delivers excellence for all. The school is committed to promoting and raising achievement within Art and Design by covering the skills set out within the National Curriculum.
We do this by ensuring that students have the opportunity to engage in a broad, balanced and differentiated education through access to a range of creative mediums. It enables children of all abilities to communicate what they see, feel and think through the use of colour, texture, form, pattern and different materials and processes.
