Y1 – Phonics – Go back onto the phonics section and go back over the videos, revisiting your phase 5 sounds 
Y2 – SPAG – Can you write 5 question and exclamation sentences

English – The Day the Crayons Quit…..remembering the key features of a letter can you write a letter to Gold Crayon as if you are Duncan. How do you feel about the letter from gold crayon, what will you do to resolve the situation?

Maths – visit Mathletics I have set some maths challenges for you all about shape and space

Topic – visit Oak Academy and visit the following pages to access the amazing videos. Choose 1 every afternoon

English – Watch the video of the ‘Wish Granter’ again. If you had a coin, what would you wish for? Write down full sentences remembering your punctuation.

Week Commencing 8th March:

Phonics – 

(Year 1) We have now learnt all the phase 5 sounds. Visit ‘Phonics Play’ and play some phase 5 games to recap the sounds we have learnt so far. 

(Year 2) Use some time in your morning to read and have an adult ask some questions. 

English – 

Y1 + 2 this week is a handwriting focus to get us ready for when we return to school next week. Have a watch of the videos on Purple Mash and practise these on paper.

Maths –

For this week I have set challenges on Mathletics. These are all to do with what we have been learning over the last few weeks
