Learning during school closure
Our main aim during the period of school closures is for children to consolidate their learning and to work on essential skills so as not to fall back. Please follow the Home Learning link on the parents tab for links to useful websites and those that the school subscribes to. Your child will have come home with their log in details for Mathletics on Friday 20th March. If you need support to access them please email the school office.
Each week teachers will post work on to the home learning page via the home learning link above . These can be completed in the exercise books children have brought home with them. When your child has completed the activities you can email the work, or a photo of what they have done to their teacher. Teachers will be checking their emails at regular intervals between 9am and 3pm, Monday – Friday.
Coronavirus Advice
The current government advice is that people should stay at home for 7 days if they have either:
- a high temperature
- a new continuous cough
If you live with other people, they should stay at home for 14 days from the day the first person got symptoms.
This will help to protect others in your community while you are infectious.
What we are doing in School
- Children are washing their hands or using hand sanitiser when they come into school
- Pupils are washing their hands throughout the day
- Where practical, doors are being left open to minimise pupils touching door handles
- Should the school need to be closed for any period, there will be work available via the school website for pupils to complete at home.
