Term 4

20/3/23

In maths this week, the children will learn to write fractions as decimals.

This week in literacy, the children will map out the story of ‘Krindlekrax’ so far, in preparation to writing their own adventure stories.

In art, we will be looking at the painting of the Last Supper and answering questions about it.

In Science, the children will set up their own investigation about sound.

PE this term will be on a Wednesday and we will be learning about ball and net games.

In RE, the children will be mapping the Easter story.

In French, the children will learn how to read and write French words.

In maths this week, the children will be learning about mixed numbers and improper fractions.

This week in literacy, the children will be writing diary entries in the role as Ruskin for our story ‘Krindlekrax.’

In Geography, our new topic for the term is ‘How is our local environment changing?’ and we will be exploring the landscape in Hastings.

In Science, the children will be investigating how sound is created.

PE this term will be on a Wednesday and we will be learning about ball and net games.

In RE, the children will be learning about Christianity and the Easter story.

In French, the children will learn how to read and write French words.

This week in literacy, the children will be introduced to the new story for the term ‘Krindlekrax.’

In RE, the children will be further exploring the story of ‘Rama and Sita.’

This week in literacy we will be finishing our story ‘Oliver and The Seawigs’ and writing our own reviews.

In RE, the children will continue to learn about the term ‘Prophethood.’
